Workshop

At the end of July, Caerphilly County Borough Council released further information on the proposed future of Blackwood Miners’ Institute.

The proposal is to withdraw the subsidy from the venue, which could lead to it being “mothballed” from January 2025.

A 6-week public consultation will now take place, where members of the public and stakeholders will have a chance to give their opinions on these proposals. Below you will find a link to the proposals and survey.

We greatly appreciate giving your time to offer your views on the future of Blackwood Miners’ Institute.
