UPDATE – October 2020

Performances up until Christmas 2020 have now either been cancelled or postponed, unfortunately this means that the already rescheduled Rich Hall’s Hoedown Deluxe, Bingo Lingo andHorrible Histories - Barmy Britain will no longer be going ahead this autumn.  We are in the process of arranging new dates with the companies and will be contacting ticket holders as soon as we can.

Please note that we have no access to the phone system at BMI at the moment, therefore if you need to contact us please email bmi@caerphilly.gov.uk.

The health and wellbeing of the community is paramount, therefore Caerphilly County Borough Council has been closely monitoring the situation surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, aligning our response to the Public Health Wales guidelines.

In line with Welsh Government advice we have decided that it is in the best interest of the community and our staff for Blackwood Miners’ Institute to remain closed until further notice.  This decision was a difficult decision for us because we can’t wait to welcome you all back in to the building, but safety must come first.

We will be reviewing the artistic programme chronologically on a show by show basis. If you have tickets for a future event we will contact you if that event is to be postponed or cancelled.

Thank you for your continued support and patience during this challenging time.
