UPDATE - 29 June

The health and wellbeing of the community is paramount, therefore Caerphilly County Borough Council has been closely monitoring the situation surrounding the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak, aligning our response to the Public Health Wales guidelines.

In line with Welsh Government advice we have decided that it is in the best interest of the community and our staff for Blackwood Miners’ Institute to remain closed until further notice.  This decision was a difficult decision for us because we can’t wait to welcome you all back in to the building, but safety must come first.

Sadly this means that CCBC’s hugely popular Dance Showcase cannot take place in the theatre this year but look out on our social media channels for CCBC’s Digital Dance Showcase.

We will be reviewing the artistic programme chronologically on a show by show basis. If you have tickets for a future event we will contact you if that event is to be postponed or cancelled.

Thank you for your continued support and patience during this challenging time.

If you hold a ticket for a performance or event that has been postponed or cancelled, please do not contact box office.  In light of the recent announcement by the Prime Minister, Box Office is no longer available via the phone.  However, our team is still working as quickly as possible to contact all customers by email to transfer tickets or offer a credit note.  If you have not given box office an email address, please email blackwoodminersinstitute@caerphilly.gov.uk so that we can amend your record.

We ask all customers to be patient with us at this challenging time, and we thank you for your continued support.
